There had been many post TSBS and post S2 in which Major Crimes may had been puzzled by Jim's actions at the aftermentioned titles but was willing to stand by him (and Blair) nevertheless.

I've read some fics where Jim gets really cranky and is biting everyone's heads off because Blair is at a conference or spending a ton of time at the U or something and now I'm wondering, are there any fics where the MC people, minus Jim, show up to help Blair finish his work just so he's done and back with Jim?

I have read this so many times but cannot find it anywhere. Criminals take over the station, Blair is with Rhonda and the doughnut girl and they're trying to get to Jim and the others who are being held hostage.
